
Tuition Reimbursement
Please review your Collective Bargaining Agreement which outlines all Tuition Reimbursement parameters in detail. Some information is listed below for your convenience.
Teachers - 2027-2028 school year
In accordance with the Collective Bargaining Agreement, teachers may currently receive up to $2,500.00 of tuition reimbursement for graduate credits per contract year per employee.
If you intend to take graduate courses between July 1, 2027 and June 30, 2028, please follow the procedures below:
Submit the Tuition Reimbursement Request Form linked here no later than May 1, 2027: Tuition Reimbursement Request Form- Teachers
Enter the course in Frontline for approval by your Building Principal and the Assistant Superintendent of Teaching and Learning's office BEFORE you take the course. Courses that have not been pre-approved in Frontline will not be reimbursed.
When your course is completed, provide your proof of payment and transcript/grade to the following people. You must receive a grade of a "B" or higher to receive reimbursement.

Deadline for submission proof of payment and transcript/grade is April 1, 2027, OR notification to the Business Office by email that you will be submitting a grade on or before June 15, 2027. Any extensions beyond June 15, 2027 must be approved by the Business Office.
School Administrators - 2027-2028 school year
Administrators planning graduate study during the 2027-2028 school year should submit the form linked below to the Superintendent by April 1, 2027 and return the completed form to the Human Resources Department.
Tuition Reimbursement Request - Administrators
Instructional Assistants - 2026-2027 school year
In accordance with the AAO Collective Bargaining Agreement, Instructional Assistants may receive up to a maximum amount of $300.00 reimbursement for one course per school year.
All coursework must be job-related and must be approved by your building principal and the Superintendent of Schools (or designee). To obtain this approval, fill out the form linked below and obtain the required signatures. Please attach information about the Continuing Education program and a course description to this form for approval purposes.
Instructional Assistants must submit their approved Tuition Reimbursement Request Forms to Human Resources PRIOR to the start of the course in order to be eligible to receive reimbursement.
Proof of passing the course (grade, transcript, certificate of completion or other related document), as well as proof of payment, must be provided to Human Resources by June 1, 2027 in order to be eligible to receive tuition reimbursement.
