Student voice is a top priority for district leaders and the administration works directly with APS students. Launched in the 2025-26 school year, twenty-six Andover High School students meet regularly with the superintendent.

The primary purpose is to empower high school students with insights into the workings of the school district. The SSAC offers students a platform to contribute their perspectives on a range of district initiatives and actively participate in a council to provide the superintendent with non-binding consultation.
