APS Kindergarten Registration Information
ENTRANCE AGE: Per Andover School Committee Policy, children must turn age 5 on or before August 31, 2026 to register for Kindergarten. APS offers tuition-free, full-day classes. No half-day kindergarten is offered. All students must be registered to attend Kindergarten.
Kindergarten Registration for the 2026-2027 school year will be open from
Monday, Feb. 2, 2026, to Monday, March 2, 2026

Wednesday, May 6, 2026
This is an opportunity to visit your child's school. Each school will email with details.
Kindergarten Screening
Individual schools will email families later in the summer to sign up for a screening time at the school.

If you are a new family to Andover Public Schools:
Families new to the Andover Public Schools will create an account in the Andover Family Connection.
Parents/Guardians who have completed the on-line registration are required to bring in hard copies of the following documents:
Original Birth Certificate
Immunization documents and a copy of most recent physical
Notarized Affidavit of Residency form

For APS families with Aspen accounts
Current families in the Andover Public Schools can access the Andover Family Connection registration website directly from the Aspen Family Portal.
This will not require a separate login.
Log in with your username and password and click the New Student Registration link in the announcement section on the right side of the page.
Please note, if you previously had an Aspen account through APS but your child was withdrawn from the district, your account is no longer active. Please follow the instructions above for new families.
