Thanks to amazing people like you who have come out to help, </span><strong><span style="margin:0;font-size:15px;font-family:sans-serif;color:#111;">we have filled almost every shift over the last two weeks </span></strong><span style="margin:0;font-size:15px;font-family:sans-serif;color:#111;">and it’s been wonderful for our program. </span><strong><span style="margin:0;font-size:15px;font-family:sans-serif;color:#111;">Last week alone we rescued almost 900 food items</span></strong><span style="margin:0;font-size:15px;font-family:sans-serif;color:#111;"> </span><strong><span style="margin:0;font-size:15px;font-family:sans-serif;color:#111;">from the trash. Together, they launched the initiative by inviting 50 high school student leaders into fifth-grade physical education classes to talk about the importance of teamwork, sportsmanship, and giving full effort on and off the field. This past Friday WEL was visited by 30 scholar athletes from Andover High School. The students were assigned to elemetnary classrooms and engaged the children in conversations about athletics, leadership and the importance of being a role model on and off the field. The high school students event spent some time at the WEL PTO Boosterthon! All in all a great time was had by all!</p></div><div style="clear:both;"><!--[if mso]>
