| | West Food Rescue/Recovery Update!Just wanted you to know we rescued 87 lbs of food this week, along with several dozen milks (which weren’t weighed). Thanks to Jackie Sleeper from the Food Service staff, the milks were sanitized and returned to circulation—so while they didn’t go to the Village Food Hub, they were saved from the trash! Lessons learned from our first week helped us streamline the process, and with our new carts, moving food has become much easier. Another big win: we’ve committed to donating all end-of-year leftover food to the Village Food Hub, and they’ve kindly offered to handle the transport. Thank you to everyone helping make this effort a success! | | School Site Council !Save the date! Our next School Site Council will occur on May 14, 2025 at 7:00 PM.
