After 34 incredible years of dedication to Andover Public Schools, the legendary Mrs. Manship is retiring at the end of this school year.
As a deeply trusted and respected educator, Mrs. Manship has spent decades inspiring our students to become thoughtful, engaged citizens through her 8th-grade civics classes. Year after year, she has helped our students understand the world around them, find their voices, and prepare for their futures.
Her passion for teaching, her wisdom, and her unwavering support for her students have left an indelible mark on generations of Andover families. While we are heartbroken to see her leave the classroom, we are endlessly grateful for the decades of heart and soul she poured into our community.
Please join us in thanking Mrs. Manship for her extraordinary service and wishing her the very best in her well-deserved retirement!
If you or your child would like to share a favorite memory or send a note of appreciation, please feel free to email Mrs. Law. |

On Wednesday, June 17th, our office staff will be at the Collins Center helping to set up for the graduation ceremony. As a result, we will have limited coverage in the front office to assist with student dismissals.
If you plan to attend the graduation ceremony and need to dismiss a younger student, we recommend keeping them with you in the morning if possible. Each year, we experience a high volume of dismissals between 8:30 and 9:00 a.m., which can lead to delays. We want to ensure no one is late to the ceremony due to a backlog in the front office.
If you have any questions, please contact our administrative team at 978-247-5400. We’re happy to help. |

Our 8th graders have been putting their WIN (What I Need) block to incredible use lately! Led by Mrs. Ogden, a group of students has been regularly visiting the residents at Marland Place, and the experience has been nothing short of magical.
The goal of these visits is simple yet profound: to bridge the generational gap, foster empathy, and bring a little extra joy to our local community. |

On Wednesday, June 10th, our sixth graders took over the lawn for an epic, high-energy Cornhole tournament! With summer just around the corner, it was the perfect way to soak up some sun, show off some serious skills, and enjoy some friendly competition.
From perfectly aimed airmails to nail-biting slider finishes, the energy was through the roof. It was incredible to see our students cheering each other on, displaying fantastic sportsmanship, and just making unforgettable memories together.
A huge thank you to our sixth grade teachers who organized the event, and to our awesome sixth graders for bringing so much enthusiasm and fun to the afternoon. What a great way to wrap up an incredible school year! |

The Massachusetts Department of Public Health has updated their guidelines regarding the administration of medication in public schools.
To ensure we remain in compliance with these new state regulations, and to provide the highest level of safety for our students, the district has updated its policy regarding the validity period of medical orders.
New Medication Order Requirements: Effective immediately, all medical orders for both prescription and non-prescription medications must be dated within the current academic cycle: July 1st through June 30th. What this Means for your family: - Annual Renewals: Any medication orders on file from the previous school year will expire on June 30th. You must provide a new, signed medication order from your child’s licensed prescriber for the upcoming school year.
- July 1st Start Date: We encourage parents to schedule wellness visits or contact their child's physician after July 1st to ensure the paperwork is correctly dated for the full upcoming school year.
If you have any questions, please contact your school’s health office directly. Thank you for your cooperation in keeping our students safe and healthy. |
