As part of our ongoing efforts to monitor and support your student's academic progress, we recently completed the Spring MAP Growth (Measures of Academic Progress) Assessment. We are pleased to share the family report with you, which provides information about your student’s performance. It serves as an excellent tool to understand your student’s academic strengths and areas for growth.
MAP Growth Assessment
The MAP Growth assessment provides achievement and growth percentiles that are nationally normed. The assessment provides immediate information about your student’s learning progress in Reading and Math. MAP Growth tests are unique and adapt to your student’s response. Questions fall within a RIT range (level of difficulty). Your student’s RIT score and other data sources are used to make instructional decisions when creating classroom lessons and supporting student learning and growth.
For more information about MAP growth, please visit www.aps1.net/page/nwea-map-assessment.
Thank you for your continued partnership in your child’s education. |

Andover Public Schools has created a set of optional activities to support your student's math skills this summer. The Get Ready resources include a mix of printable and online assignments designed to review important concepts that will be needed for the grade they will be entering in the fall. These are not required and will not be collected or graded but are a helpful way for students to continue math practice at their own pace.
