Attention 8th graders - are you interested in being in show choir at Andover High School next year? We are looking forsingers, dancers, andtech crew. Auditions are May 22and 23 at the high school.
What is show choir? Show choir is a performing group which sings a variety of styles of music while executing complex choreography. There are elements of acting and storytelling as well. Andover High has three show choirs: Nothin’ But Treble, Back to BASS-ics and From Start to Finish. We perform and compete locally as well as nationally. Show choir travels and performs with a live band (Sound Machine) and is supported by a Tech Crew who work with lighting, set pieces, props and other technical aspects of the show.
Teacher Appreciation is in full swing! The staff loved the Farmer's Market and Build-Your-Own Bouquets this past Wednesday. We are spoiling our favorites every Wednesday for the month of May instead of limiting celebrations to just one week. The PAC needs help from the school community for these expressions of gratitude to be a huge success!
CLICK HERE to view many opportunities to contribute. Some fresh items will need to be delivered at different times of the month so please note the dates and times you are signing up for. Your family's contribution is greatly appreciated!
Thank you, WMS PAC
It is a hectic time of year and dismissals are on the rise. We completely understand that this time of year is busy with doctors appointments, private school visits and other obligations.
Please remember to send your student in with a note if they will be dismissed early; it helps us facilitate a smooth dismissal and avoid making you late to your appointment.
