Dear APS staff and families,

I am pleased to introduce Dr. Jennifer Toth as the incoming Executive Director of Special Services for Andover Public Schools. She will begin in July 2026, succeeding Executive Director Nancy Koch, who is retiring at the end of the school year.

Dr. Toth brings more than 30 years of experience in education, including roles as a classroom teacher, middle-level administrator, and special education leader across public and private settings. She has deep expertise in special education programming, with a strong focus on inclusive practices, equitable access, and ensuring that all students receive the individualized supports they need to thrive.

Most recently, Dr. Toth served as Director of Pupil Personnel Services for Uxbridge Public Schools, where she led districtwide efforts to strengthen special education services, enhance mental health supports, and improve the MTSS framework to better meet students’ evolving needs. Her work has expanded inclusive programming, strengthened early literacy and support for multilingual learners, and fostered more collaborative, student-centered IEP processes. Dr. Toth is committed to building strong partnerships with families, staff, and community providers to support the success of every learner.

Dr. Toth looks forward to meeting with families, staff, and the community as she transitions into her role. I am confident she will be a valuable addition to our community. I hope you will join me in welcoming her to Andover.
