1.
What do I do if my child is absent?
The attendance policy requires parents to call the school absence line between 8:00 and 8:45 am at (978)247-8201. Upon returning to school, a written explanation from home is required. Absences of more than five days require a doctor's note.
If you would like to speak to Ms. Bonnie Fields, LPN, call (987) 247-8202.
2.
What should I do if there is a change in my child's dismissal routine?
A note from home is required when there is any deviation from the child's normal way of returning home from school. Parents that need to pick up a child before the school's normal dismissal time must report to the office.
3.
How do I find out if school has been cancelled?
Announcements relative to closing schools will be made starting at 6:00 am. Stations that broadcast the announcements include WBZ 1030 AM (radio); TV channels 4, 5, and 7; as well as the Andover Public Schools Website.
