[ARCHIVED] Bancroft Spirit Week

Bancroft Spirit Week!

February 14th to 18th

Join in the Bancroft fun and support a great cause at the same time. Each day the week of February 14th will feature a unique and special theme. To participate in this Spirit Week we are asking for a donation of $1 on Monday, February 14th. All money will be donated to the United Way, which improves lives by mobilizing the caring power of communities around the world to advance the common good. Let’s have some fun celebrating the spirit of Bancroft and raise money for a great cause!

Monday - Pink Red & White day

Celebrate Valentine’s Day with the colors of L O V E!

Tuesday - Career Day

What do you dream about being when you grow up? Be it today!

Wednesday – Wacky Tacky Day

Crazy socks? Unusual hair style? Wear all your clothes that clash!

Thursday - Sports Day

Support your favorite team, or wear the clothing of your favorite sport!

Friday - Pajama Day

After a long, but fun week of dressing in unusual ways, let’s relax today… and not get dressed at all; wear your pajamas to school!

Bancroft Spirit Week!

Let’s have a safe & fun week!

A few things to keep in mind:

(Please review with your child. Thank you!!!)

1. No hair dyes or hair color in school on Wednesday (anything done for “crazy hair” needs to be done at home)

2. Any Spirit Week clothing/gear should not interfere with classroom learning/activities in any way (i.e. helmets for Sports Day cannot be worn in class)

3. Any Spirit Week clothing/gear needs to be properly and appropriately worn/used as per Bancroft rules (i.e. hockey sticks for Sports Day cannot be brought outside for recess)

4. Please remind your child they still need warm clothing to wear over their pajamas on Friday for outdoor recess
