Statement of the Andover School Committee - November 13, 2023 at 11:30 p.m. 

Negotiations between the Andover School Committee and Andover Education Association ended Monday at approximately 11:30 p.m. with both sides agreeing to get back to the bargaining table Tuesday morning. The School Committee is encouraged by the progress made today with the help of our state-appointed mediator and we are hopeful that more progress can be made tomorrow. 

The current offers on the table from the School Committee and AEA are closer than when the day began.  

The School Committee regrets that school had to be canceled again Tuesday due to the strike and hopes that students are back in the classroom Wednesday.
