Attention Students and Families
The APS Ed-Tech Team has a number of important announcements to share:
- Staff and student email account formats = one email username for all logins - More information is below and on the APS EdTech Team website.
- ClassLink will be closed for maintenance 8/15-8/18.
- Streamlined login to Aspen for staff and students - Begins August 15th! Students and Staff click on the colorful Single Sign-On button to log in.
- Students grades 6-12 and all APS staff will begin using Microsoft’s Outlook application for email and calendar - tutorials will be on the APS EdTech Site soon!

This summer, the district began moving all login accounts away from using the k12.andoverma.us address. The change is an important step in streamlining how our learning community accesses various applications, as well as enhancing security. This is part of the Single Sign-On (SSO) Initiative that was communicated earlier in the summer.
“Standard” student emails look like this now: firstname.lastname@example.org
(username = 1st initial and last name followed by year of graduation)
What does this mean for you? Just one email username to remember for your APS accounts!
