Arrival Times & ProceduresDismissal Times & Procedures

We will be making adjustments to the arrival and dismissal procedures this year. 


  • Students will not be allowed to enter the building until 8:00 a.m.
  • Students will be assigned a building entrance through one of the following four entrances:
    • Field House
    • Collins Center
    • Cafeteria
    • Main Entrance
  • Families and students received their information on entrance locations with their cohort assignment.
  • When entering the building, students will be required to wear appropriate mask coverings. Students will not be allowed to enter the building with gators, bandanas, and masks with vents.  
  • Students must sanitize their hands when entering the building.
  • Students will need to report immediately to their first block class.
  • Assistant Principals will work with families and students who consistently arrive after 8:15 a.m.

Please note that we are modifying our dismissal time and procedures this year.

  • Students will be dismissed by 2:51 p.m.
  • Students must immediately exit the building and the campus.  All students are expected to leave the campus by 3:00 p.m.
    • Students seeking extra-help will schedule appointments with their teacher via Google Meet.
    • Students participating in athletics or any other school-approved after-school activities will receive specific instructions on where to report at dismissal.

One-Way Hallways and Stairwells and Transition Times

All hallways and stairwells will be one-way. Students will be required to follow the one way hallways. Students will also be required to wear their masks during transition times. There will be two transitions for students. Each classroom will be assigned a time to transition from their class. Students will be required to practice social distancing of six (6) feet during the transition time.
