Welcome (or welcome back) to West Middle School for the 2008-2009 school year.  As your vacation begins to wind down, we hope that  you are looking forward to coming back to school.

When you arrive, you will meet a number of new teachers in our school, and you will find a few other changes as well!  We hope that any surprises are good surprises for you.

School begins on Thursday, September 4th, at 7:35 a.m.  Your homeroom number was printed on the address label of the mailing sent to you earlier.

6th Graders:  When you arrive at school you will come to the auditorium to meet your homeroom teacher.

7th and 8th graders:  Please report directly to homeroom, at which time you will meet your homeroom teacher and receive your schedule.  In your mailing, you should have received a teacher list and a map showing you where your classes are located.

On the first day of school, you will receive an Agenda Organizer Notebook, your copy of the West Middle School Family Handbook, and some other important papers to bring home.  It is especially important for families to read the Handbook together.

Lunch will be served in the school cafeteria and the school day will end at 2:05 p.m.
