X2 Student Information Mangement System to be used as AHS new list serv communication for parents
The Andover Public Schools have contracted with Alert Now for our reverse 911 notification system. Some of the features of the Alert Now system has that our current list serv does not are that Alert Now allows for larger emails, attachments, and graphics; therefore, starting in December, the Andover High School will be switching from our old limited list serv system to the higher capacity Alert Now system. The Alert Now system accesses its parent/student contact information from our X2 Student Information Management System (SIMS). It is important that we have updated parent email addresses so we may keep you informed of important Andover High School information, events, and activities. Unfortunately, our old list serv system does not have names associated with email addresses, so we are unable to simply transfer the data from one system to the other. The High School Administration is asking you to please contact Ms. Gould, Registrar at cgould@aps1.net with your name, student name, and email address you would like added or amended to this information. The system can only accommodate one email address.

As we move forward with this transition, please be aware that you may be receiving “test” emails.

Thank you for your cooperation.
