Information about the Hiring Process:
Town positions: Applicants for municipal positions will be screened by a preliminary screening committee. If selected for an interview, applicants should expect a group interview experience. Finalists for most positions can expect that they will be asked to participate in an assessment center which is designed to highlight skills essential to the successful implementation of job responsibilities.
School department positions: Applicants for teaching positions are also screened by a preliminary screening committee and can anticipate a group interview. Finalists for teaching positions are often asked to visit a classroom to teach a lesson.
School department employees and select town employees will be asked to fill out a Criminal Records History Check (CORI form Opens a New Window. ) as well as a SAFIS (Fingerprinting Form)
