We continue to experience higher absentee rates for this time of year. Through the summer months our protocol will remain unchanged. Anyone with flu-like illness (fever of 100 or above, with cough, sore throat or runny nose) will be asked to stay at home for 7 days from onset of symptoms, or until fever free for 24 hours if longer than 7 days. To break the cycle of transmission – it is imperative that we follow the DPH guidelines:  Students or staff, who appear ill with influenza-like illness will be promptly sent home.
